Ridel Academy
Was founded in 1882 by the Sisters of Saint Augustine and was for wayward girls and young women who had lost their way. Then as today the courts could sentence minor offenders to the school to have their behavior corrected through discipline and corporal punishment.
Today the school is more modern but still uses Corporal punishment for correction.
